"Büyükada" is one of the islands near Istanbul (Turkey), a rear place where modern buildings did not touch the wooden houses or palaces build during the 19th century... the jewels of Istanbul.   The artist Bilgin Aral (Istanbul 1934), a holding general manager with a masters degree in economy, try from the early times (first exhibition 1953) up to now to record those buildings and views of the Islands and Bosporus in his drawings for the future.   Those, grouped in site are already printed as a limited-edition book, are all made by pencil and are a part of a collection of 350 drawings (280 of them are in various collections all over the world).
